New Offshore Wind Project Planned for California

The Balder is getting scrapped not sure if it’s for sale but could work also.

Deepwater Construction Vessel (DCV) Balder is capable of a tandem lift of 6,300 t (6,945 short tons). The cranes provide for a depth reach lowering capability as well as a heavy lift capacity to install topsides. This multi-functional dynamic positioned DCV is tailored for the installation of foundations, moorings, SPARs, TLPs, and integrated topsides, as well as pipelines and flowlines.

Where do you get your information from??

The SSCV Hermod has been scrapped but the Balder is still active. The J-lay tower has been removed, since Heerema is getting out of pipe laying, but otherwise the Balder is being upgraded to serve in the decommissioning and offshore wind farm segments, with no plans of scrapping, at least before 2021. She is presently in GoM, working in Mississippi Canyon area:
