New Crewboat Captain Blog

Both the captain and the blog are pretty new. Asked John if he thought it would be okay to post a link up here (didn’t want to drive traffic away from gCaptain) and he said sure, post it up and see what happens. <cringe>

It’s really just a chronicle of what I’m learning as a relative newbie to the industry – probably nothing that will be helpful or maybe even interesting to an old salt.

So, here it is: http://crewboatchronicles.blogspot.com. Comments are welcome, but please read the disclaimer in the “About” section before triggering the man-portable incendiery devices.

Anyhow, for what it’s worth …

Nice work and I’m looking forward to reading more.

Great reading. Thanks for taking the time to do this blog!

Keep it up man, looks good.

Good blog. I respect the fact that people take the time and take their job seriously then go as far as sharing their experiences. Hopefully, your company allows that and will leave you alone with it. Some don’t, especially in the North Sea. I had to sign a paper before because of an incident that happened and many family members followed a certain blog and when they thought their loved ones were involved in what was posted (about the incident), the office started getting phone calls…and that was the end of that.

I like it!! I am looking forward to read some more! I like the pictures too!!

Fun read, and well written! Good job!

Vey good work, Thanks for taking the time for this and also for helping me out with my questions.

Keep up the good work…
