How long does it take to get able seafarer deck upgrade MMC application? I put mine in on October 6 into navita. It says submitted on navita but, I still haven’t heard from national maritme center.
Given that Navita has only been up and running for just over a month, I’d be shocked if any Navita-placed request has been fulfilled yet. Therefore, we don’t have any metrics to indicate whether it will speed up or slow down processing.
My extensive experience with USCG introducing new systems leads me to believe that in the near-term, the new system will actually slow down processing while the evaluators and other users learn the process and work out the bugs.
I’ve had an endorsement sitting in NMC’s in box since the start of September with very little movement. So I would not get your hopes up for your upgrade until 60+ days have passed.

Nmc box as on navita or you got an email saying national maritme center got your application or is you application still submitted to navita?
Submitted the old fashioned way (uploaded) on 9/7
Moved to awaiting safety and suitability vetting on 9/22
Moved to READY TO BE EVALUATED PQEB on 10/1
Still waiting.
