I’ve heard that the MV HELSINKI BRIDGE lost a number of containers between Boston and Wilmington, NC due to heavy weather
She is currently anchored off Wilmington while emergency plan is developed to safely remove damaged containers.
Wonder where they were coming from/going to?
Lashing issues (again)??
And/or inaccurate weight declaration and ineffective WGM at load port??

One must assume they were properly lashed as is the custom for US ports. But I’m not familiar with east coast much, so not certain. Regardless, if the weather was bad enough, it can happen.
