MSC Security Clearance Question

Hello all,

I was recently called and offered a job as an SU by MSC. I accepted the offer and am excited to get some good sea time and benefits, but am worried that I will not be granted security clearance based on having a juvenile record that is 10 years old and my credit being bad. I was busted with some beer as a 17 year old and was arrested and charged with a minor in possession. Also I was 120 days delinquent with a Visa card several years back, although I no longer owe on it. These offenses don’t seem to bad to me, and would hate for them to be the reason I can’t get the job I was offered. Anyone have any experience with anything like this? Thanks in advance.
