If I became hired by MSCand worked with them e.g. for 5years and wanted to try my hand with ano ther shipping, how could I leave on good terms and come back to work with them if things didn’t work out at the other shipping company?
You’d be back to square one with getting rehired.

There are plenty of jobs for anyone that wants to work and makes an effort. Especially, if you have your MMC in hand.
Some people might doubt the sanity of anyone that stays at MSC for 5 years.
