More Participants Needed - Georgia Institute of Technology Shipping Research Project

Hello gCaptain,
I previously advertised this study here and was able to interview some great people, so I figured I’d give an update on the project and ask for more participants. Our project scope has also changed slightly with excellent feedback from participants.
Update: I have interviewed 11 people as of today. They have all had some incredible insights on shipping security!
Request: We need more participants (ideally, our study will have an amount in the 20s at least)
Project Details:
I am a Ph.D. researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology, advised by Professor Saman Zonouz. We are doing a research study to investigate the security practices of crew on marine vessels. We will use the results of this study to improve security training. We also plan to work with different standards organizations (e.g., IMO) and classification societies (e.g., ABS/DNV) to tailor requirements to the real problems crews face. Our goal is to make marine vessels more resilient and secure in a practical way by incorporating crew input (e.g., how do we keep ships secure/cyber-secure without significantly increasing mariner workload?)

We are looking for people with experience working on ships, specifically people who have worked as officers, to participate in a 5-minute survey. Upon completion, we may contact some of the participants in the survey for a further 60-minute interview to dive deeper into their experiences.

If you have worked on a ship and are willing to help us with our research project, please complete our short survey: Microsoft Forms. Should you need further information or have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here: araymaker3@gatech.edu.

Also, a note on the survey: This is used solely for recruiting purposes (determining if someone should be interviewed). Some questions may seem vague. Please answer to the best of your ability. Some questions are also being used to weed out bot responses.
