I read the V2 rocket program killed more of its own workforce than it did enemies. Not that I would be rooting for WW II Germans to win, but that is kind of sad 
- not sure, but I think many of the workers were not exactly volunteers.
- In other news, the rocket plane they had was more dangerous to the pilots than their intended targets.

Since the V2 program, we’ve also discovered, through rigorous trial and error, that you tend to have fewer defective rocket parts when they’re made by willing skilled employees instead of starving slave labor. Whodathunk.
