It looks like the Military Sealift Command headquarters consolidation is starting to pick up:

It sounds like the Washington DC office will be reduced to a cadre. Everything else will move to Norfolk. Apparently this has been in the works for quite a while.

Can’t speak to the manning in DC but I have a former colleague who has been in Freehold within the last few days who is helping move equipment from the Training Facility there down to NORVA
