Helix ESG 3 A/E in the US GOM is 130K per year total pay.
Vantage overseas 3 A/E is 160K per year.

Gulfmark mates are making 450-500/day, tenure is $10/ day for each year with them company up to 5 yrs then $15 a day for years 5-10. Benefits change a lot but they are good.

Received my letter about the GulfMark raises today. Mine is a huge $10 per day. Pretty insulting if you ask me. That amounts to $0.83 per hour!
$10 a day is an insult. Why even send a letter.
They sent us all an email telling us a raise was coming and then sent letters telling us how much. All this is going to do is piss people off. It sure isn’t going to retain anyone!
It is a shame and it is insulting… I am glad, I jumped the ship almost two years ago, soon big D.R. from Houston will have to run boats by himself.
Lead Captains and Chief Engineers got 100.00, reliefs 85.00, and thirds 50.00. Qmeds, oilers, and ab’s 10.00. I’d really liked to have seen deck get much more and I have a feeling that there may be some crew change issues in the near future.
I agree. Just like I said, this is only going to insult and piss guys off. We all know what the positions pay elsewhere and I bet a lot head out!

hmm…now mates ~ $485 bare min. potentially over $700 if you have DPO&1600Master

Rumors of pay raises once 210’s started getting stretched. That never came to pass. Now rumor is when ALL the boats are stretched.
