‘Arctic Metagaz’ Towing Operation Heads Toward Maltese Waters As Plans for Cargo Removal Unclear
Looking at this article, and the forecast, it could be heading to Greece!
(Unless it founders in the heavy weather…)

Further to the latest article on the gCaptain main page, the latest from Malta…

Meanwhile, today’s latest…

If Maridive 701 is the quoted shadow boat, it’s ~100nm N of Benghazi

Any new updates on the ship? I’ve searched and came up with nothing further than the post above. I see Maridive 701 & Maridive 702 are still out in the waters, a ways from the coast.

If forecast northerlies in that area push it back towards Libyan beaches, someone might speak up, I suppose.
(I am surprised that there have been no Navarea III MSI warnings for it. Malta did local warnings for a while, but no Greek NavTex as it moved that way - out of sight, out of mind seems to be everybody’s view now.)

If the erratic repsonse by Libya seems odd, remember the post-Gaddafi mess it’s in.
Understand that Western Libya (where the problem first drifted towards shore) and Eastern Libya (the closest area under threat now) are still very much separate “administrations”. They only talk to each other through the UNSMIL (United Nations Support Mission in Libya)

I have a sollution to this problem.

Let’s bomb them into a stone age “like nobody has ever seen before” .

Would it not be a " beautiful " thing to do?

And problem solved like never ever before

It hasn’t gone away yet!

It’s time for some torpedo live-fire exercises!

Can the RN afford them?

Probly some old Mk8s lying around - dumb but reliable.
(Conq used them down south on General B rather than risk temperamental Tigerfish)

Don’t believe you.

Fake News

The Orange Man’s Stooge said that when merica sank the Iranian Frigate off Sri Lanka it was the first time since WW2

I believe the orange man rather than some out dated has beens that won’t help merica

A couple of new articles, one shows it’s heading south again, closer to Libya.
