I agree Bob - there is definitely something ‘fishy’ about this affair.
If there really have been some eye-opening discoveries with this study, the results should be published. How paternalistic and downright disrespectful of the world’s mariners to keep this under wraps.
Then again, such a ‘whitewash’ press-release may be a front for such things as;

[li]internal disputes amongst the participating parties[/li][li]divergent goals[/li][li]commercial pressures, or[/li][li]having nothing of substance to say … :([/li][/ul]
Out of curiousity, did you ask them for the actual report?
