Anything I should know? Regarding NEO or the New Jersey training I hear others had to take. Even information about ships such as which jobs I should be looking for, how the pool works, any info at all is quite valuable at the moment. Take swim lessons now. Make sure you are able to float for at least 60 sec. If you are totally afraid of the water, find a different career. You WILL have to get in the water to pass the personal survival class before thinking of a ship.
