As anticipated in the article on November 2, 2009 at http://gcaptain.com/maritime/blog/class-action-suit-filed-hawaii/, the Court dismissed the Plaintiff’s case to attack the Jones Act as unconstitutional. The Court held that the plaintiffs’ had “no standing” and that their claims were better addressed at the legislative level. Please see attached.
