Increase in Scope Mate 500 GRT Oceans to Mate 1600 GL/Inland

Has anyone done an Increase in Scope from Mate 500 GRT Oceans to Mate 1600 GL/Inland? I didn’t realize that I qualified for Mate 1600 GL/Inland when I got my 500 GRT Mate endorsement. I know that you can upgrade from 500 GRT Oceans to 1600 GRT Oceans without further testing. And you can also upgrade from 500 GRT GL/Inland to 1600 GRT GL/Inland without further testing.

But will NMC require the full test if going from 500 to 1600 and changing routes from Ocean to Inland?
