Just read *Thank you fossil fuels & good night *by Gregory Meehan. Lots of research and graphs but very little mention of shipping. From what I have seen there are a number solutions for harbour ferries and short sea trades but we are a long way from a behemoth box boat sailing from China to Europe via the Cape unless it’s nuclear.
