Brødr.Aa to build two hydrogen powered fast ferries of a brand new design:
Hydrogen production will be by electrolysis using energy from renewable sources such as small hydro electric plants and wind farms in the area where these ferries will be operated. Onshore storage will be in submerged tanks near the ferry terminals to reduce risk.
