How about a Fox News presenter for Defence Secretary?

Chickenpox too.

But I’m sure Jenny McCarthy is happy that autism rates will drastically drop now :man_facepalming:

We have rapidly gone from Germany in 1933 to the spring of 1945, burn the place down while you have the chance seems to be the cult’s message to America.

A Democrat governor in one of the very blue states that went for Harris in 2024 is excited for RFK jr’s nomination. As for me, as a clinical trial bio investor who visits the FDA/EMA pages several times a week & reads as much as I can about Alzheimers I’m going to hold my judgment to see what he does or even if he gets voted in. The FDA is corrupt & in BP’s pocket without a doubt imo. When the 3 doctors resigned from the FDA’s Advisory Board in protest over Biogens death drug being approved for political reasons one of the doctors was quoted, “probably the worst drug approval decision in recent US history”. I watch it everyday, sometimes a couple of hours everyday & the FDA/NIH is messed up.

So clean it up! Institute whatever rules needed to stop the corruption but for Chrissake don’t corrupt it further by infecting it with extremist whackjobs.

Protect the scientists and doctors from political hacks and pharma lobbyists. Fire and prosecute anyone who took a dime in cash or in kind from any “special interest” source. As a matter of fact, that should apply to every single elected or appointed person in government at any level.

I don’t think thats the way long established Republican & Democrat bureaucracy works. Don’t rock the boat & go with the flow is the norm. The Batshit Crazy Party of 1 won the electoral college & popular vote & if he wants to clean up the FDA so be it. But Big Pharma probably is more corrupt & has deeper pockets than Big Oil so a RJK jr nomination likely won’t go anywhere. Nothing for those with TDS to get their feathers ruffled up about yet. You guys have 4 yrs ahead of you, save some juice for the 2nd, 3rd & 4th quarters, this is just pre-season.

Is “Literally Hitler” in the room with us now?

Not yet, but unfortunately for America he will be in the White House in January.

The only bright spot is that the cult will soon be very sorry as that demographic will become the first victims.

I hope you leftists double down on this.

Keep calling people who don’t agree with you cultists, Nazis, garbage, deplorables, etc. Keep talking down to black men and Hispanics.

The only demographic that didn’t move to the right in this election were white boomers. Trump won precincts in the Bronx that went to 0bama by 75% or more. He won border counties in Texas that had not gone to a Republican since the late 1800s. He came closer to winning NY state than the democrats came to winning Texas, where they dumped $150 million.

So please, double down.

I hope all Trump’s nominees are confirmed and if it’s close and there is any Republican opposition Democrats should in the spirit of bipartisanship vote to confirm.

Have you ever known either side of the aisle to vote in the spirit of anything other than vitriol?

I hope you cultists live long enough to regret your decisions.

Cope and seethe, snowflake.

For the anti right folks on here I suggest that if Tim Walz was qualified to be Vice Pres with his dubious Natl Guard service then Hedgseth is at least as qualified to be Secdef.

Comparing the qualifications for VP against those for SecDef is an entirely specious argument. VP is a purely political position. Yes, it’s second in line to the Oval, but under most circumstances it’s practically a ceremonial position, chosen as a popularity contest to help win certain states in the election. Breaking ties in the Senate is usually the biggest power move any VP ever gets to make.

SecDef on the other hand is a critical cabinet member. Appointed not elected, and confirmed to be an expert in the room to provide sound recommendations based on National Strategy, Interests, and Intel related to any present or developing foreign threat.

Walz was most definitely NOT qualified to serve as SecDef, but if you want to use “what about-ism” arguments to justify this VERY unserious choice for one of the most important positions keeping our country and allies safe go right ahead. Unfortunately this is very much NOT a joke, or a game, or an “own the libs” kind of deal. This is the safety of the free world at stake and this is a very frightening time to place someone so uniquely unqualified in this position.

Unfortunately, if I was China eyeing Taiwan I would look at the next four years as a prime window to make a move. Let us all now pray doubly hard for peace.

Give up, you’ll never convince the cultists.
Give it time, either you’ll be proven correct or they will.

What’s dubious about it? Honest question, not being a dick or trying to incite anything.

I think this is going to be a problem that we unfortunately will have to face soon. Based on Trump’s previous stance of telling Xi to “do what you need to do” in regards to the Uyghur genocide, I can’t imagine he’s going to stand in the way of China’s ambitions with Taiwan.

The US policy with Taiwan has always been fucked. Can’t blame it all on the new administration but I don’t think they’re gonna do any favors for the Taiwanese. Only hope is that because they make so many of our chips we will provide some sort of defense.

Nothing. He was such a wholesome pick the right had to invent controversy to attempt to make him look bad.

Why is chaos and insanity a cure for anything?
Imagine bleeding a diesel and finding out halfway through the job the new skipper is the crazy wino from behind the dumpster who doesn’t believe that diesel fuel even exists and wants you tell you how to do your job.

lol, I’m glad I taught you that phrase. You aren’t even using it right so it makes you look even more foolish.:rofl::rofl:

I’m optimistic about it all. I know failure means we will all have to suffer with the one-party ruled, authoritarian, centrally planned fascist country that you want so badly.
