Maybe China could be the calming voice in all this madness?
They have an interests in keeping the Hormuz open and trade flowing world wide:
Everyone does.
Trump was warned but did not listen. This is a war of Trump and Bibi’s choosing. As his former Sec. of Defense retired Gen. James Mattis has said Trump listens to no one. Everyone knows Trump does not attend national security briefings as every president before him has done. He leaves negotiations in the ME to his son in law Kushner who is in business with the Saudis and could not get a security clearance in Trump’s first term. This is the the beginning of the end of the US’s rein as world leader. Britain had their 100 years which came to an end due to military and colonial over reach. Now it is the US’s turn to realize their time is up and all due their own actions. A trillion dollars a year for the Dept of War but you cannot provide healthcare for your own people as most developed countries do?. Whatta you expect?
People only put up with so much BS.

Well, that’s a load of bollocks to start with; since when has ‘Seafarer safety’ ever, ever been the top of shipping executives concerns?
They will only ever worry when they start to run out of them.
Since as long as I remember for PR purposes and virtue signalling.
