Green over Red?

Saw a Tidewater vessel the other day(Torrans Tide (sp?) with two sets of green over Red lights on both sides in addition to normal sidelights. We were wondering what that signified? Thanks

I am beginning to suspect is it some form of signal to other vessels that the boat is hideously ugly and might cause irreparable blindness to anyone who were to accidentally gaze upon it from too close of a distance

I suddenly can’t even see my laptop screen too well now…must have damaged my computer

Ah, the magnificent “urinal” mud boat. What a beauty. Sadly, I have seen other urinal-themed boats scattered around Gulf ports. They are eyesores wherever they go.

It means the crawdads are ready.

That boat has obstruction lights on both port and starboard sides. More than likely the bridge officer was testing the panel and left them on.
