Hey all, I’ve done some searching through the forums and haven’t found much information on the best way to go about finding a deckhand job on an inland boat. I have my O.S but have no experience on a boat, just a construction background. I don’t have a way to effectively “pound the pavement” so would filling out online applications or calling bear much fruit? I’m thinking of trying companies like Kirby Inland, Magnolia Marine, Southern Towing etc. Do companies hire more in a certain time of the year? These questions probably seem beyond basic, but I wouldn’t have asked if I hadn’t searched the forum first. thanks
