As the thread title suggests, I just recently received my MMC and TWIC for entry (OS) rating. I live in the Chicago area, and would like to know any tips on landing a job. Is the best way to simply hit the ports and knock on doors? What great lakes employers should I start with/have a good history with their workers?
I have a sponsor who’s going to take my to the SIU hall. When I go, are there any specific questions to ask, things to look for etc?
I apologies for the vague questions, but I’m a green horn and I’m not even entirely sure what to ask. Any information would be very valuable and appreciated.
