What’s the best material/instructions you have read on water tight door gaskets?

Rubber or Neoprene is pretty common. As far as best…The key is to maintain the doors which is more than just the gasket alone. There is the knife edge, and door dogs to keep in good condition.

Right. I was under the impression it should be one continuous gasket and not cut into sections.
I guess if there is a section in a seamanship book with regard to gaskets is what I am looking for.
I’m partial to EPDM. It’s easy to get a good seal, and the stuff lasts forever as long as you keep it clean.
