Four offline tools I built for deck work - free, and I would like them torn apart

I sail as Chief Officer on container ships, around 8,000 TEU. On leave between contracts I ended up building the tools I kept wishing I had on watch. They are free, no ads and no tracking, and I am posting here because this forum is full of people who will tell me plainly where they are wrong.

Four of them.

Squat and UKC: squat by Barrass and ICORELS, plus a UKC worksheet for river and channel transits.

DG segregation: IMDG segregation check between two UN numbers, and a bay plan view showing where the DG boxes end up.

MSI map: NAVTEX and SafetyNET messages plotted on a chart instead of read as a wall of text.

Ship drawings and manuals: indexes the GA, capacity plan and equipment manuals already on your machine and makes them searchable.

Nothing about your ship leaves your phone. Drawings, cargo data and positions are never uploaded anywhere - partly because owners and yards would never allow it, partly because I would not want my own ship’s data sitting on someone else’s server either. The calculators run offline.

I am giving these away free, so what I am really after is criticism from people who stand watches. If a formula is the wrong one for your trade, if a segregation result looks wrong against the IMDG Code, if the workflow is nothing like how you actually do it on the bridge - I would rather hear it now than after someone has relied on it.

If you are willing to install one and tell me where it falls over, the sign-up is here: Become a tester — Seafarer JobWizard apps

I am one officer with a laptop, not a company, so I would rather get it right than get it big.

Update, one month on. Ship Drawing Map is now on the App Store alongside the other three, so all four are live on iOS.

On Android they are still behind Google’s closed-testing gate, which needs testers who actually use an app for 14 days, not just install it. I rebuilt the sign-up so it is one app and two taps: Test one app for 14 days — Seafarer JobWizard - each app card lists the three things I would most like checked (squat with your own draft and speed, segregation between two UN numbers you have carried, warnings for the area you are in, search inside a drawing you loaded).

If you tried one and it fell over, that is exactly what I want to hear, here or by email.
