Post the last line

Information to VG confirms that a different memorial service was held on Thursday morning for those who were lost.
From the boat Vestliner, also owned by Ervik Havfiske, the crew put out their last longline after six weeks at sea.
Lina was laid in the shape of a heart outside Lofoten , in memory of those who died.

18 men took part in the tour of honor, 15 of them Norwegian.
VG has been in contact with a fisherman who was on board the Vestliner during the marking.

  • It was something to take in. Things can happen very quickly. It can be a dangerous profession.
  • When things like this happen, you think a little more about it, says the fisherman, who wishes to remain anonymous.
