I took another look at the video being discussed and extracted a some image. While I must emphasize that I do not know where, when, or under what circumstances it was taken, I want to point out a few interesting issues.
First of all, someone allowed these sailors to work with such inadequate protection. I would be very interested to see the PPE matrix for that vessel. While the lack of helmets or the sloppy wearing of protective suits could be attributed to laziness and poor training, I wonder why they are using different types of protective gloves and whether their protective clothing is really chemical resistance, I think they wearing something like Fireman’s Outfit and that would be very interesting.
