I’m working through AS-D assessments with my current captain, who is headed for retirement and is not planning on renewing his STCW credentials when they expire next year. I’ll have all the sign-offs done by then but won’t have the sea time on RFPNW til after he lets his STCW go. Is this going to be a problem, or will NMC be able to look back and say yeah, he did have STCW when he signed the assessments?
