Expired cg-719b application

I went and got an application from the company office and it had an expiration date of 7/31/09. So no big deal, I’ll just go on the NMC website and fill out and print a new one right? Well the application on the website expired in June of 2012. What gives? Does the uscg not care about the date on the application?

You would think the form would have a revision date instead of an expiration date, but it is the NMC. As far as I know they only care that it is the most recent form which I believe that one is. I would call or email them just to verify.

It has a revision number. I’ll call tomorrow and find out if it’s the current revision.

The forms can still be used. The renewal process is on-going and the new forms remain valid. NMC has posted a clarification (they had previously put out similar information):
