13 April 2015: TheNOAA OPC 96 hour 500 mb chart suggests the development of a cut-off lowover the west-central North Atlantic. This will often lead to a deepeningmoderate to strong slow moving surface system. In this case a fairlyrapidly developing storm to hurricane force system is expected right in themiddle of the main shipping lanes between northern Europe and the US.
