North Atlantic Storm Brewing

The North Atlantic is showing signs of an active fall weather season as strong upper-level cut off low is forecast to develop over the eastern North Atlantic during the next few days south of 50N latitude. As a result, a rather weak surface low is expected to develop over the Central North Atlantic in 36 hours and very rapidly deepen into a major 955mb storm low with hurricane force winds over the northern shipping lanes between North Europe and the US/Canada by this Thursday.
