All of this should be easy and fast (license renewal, MED Cert..) it can’t take more than a minute or two to review one application and approve it… and that’s if you’re really bad at reviewing them.
Is this your first med cert? That’s always been the disclaimer about how long it takes to arrive.

Actually, I’ve had med certificates ever since the USCG started doing them.
As I recall, my previous renewal took a few weeks.
The medical staff at NMC is doing a good job. From physical to new med card in my mailbox, the whole process took about three weeks. Most of it was waiting for the med card to come in the mail.

From day of submission until approved to print took me 4 business days. It is currently in the mail. All said and done, should be less than 2 weeks. This was end of January.

Two days from submission to approval last week.
I think mine was three days from submission to printing. The medical department is doing great.
but then it took NMC two weeks to find a mailbox.
USCG documents are important. NMC should offer a FedEx option for an extra $50. FedEx would go by everyday to pick up and deliver within 2 days.
Whoever is in charge of the medical department, that’s the person that should be put in charge of the entire NMC.

11Feb Printed and Shipped
13 Days, submission via upload to website to receiving in my mailbox.
09 Mar 2026. Medical renewal sent to NMC via website upload.
13 Mar 2026. 3 emails saying received, reviewing, approved & ready to print.
15 Mar 2026. Printed and Shipped.
21 Mar 2026. Arrived in my mail box.
