What’s happening with all the cruise ships around the world? I have been watching Grand Princess since she left San Francisco and she is reported as being adrift off the Mexican coast near Ensenada. Bad times for sure, but can’t they be brought to port and cleaned, etc, getting ready for an eventual reopening? Another sad story of the COVID 19 pandemic.
They could but that would cost money for berth or anchorage. It’s cheaper to float around. Plus they can let the crew infect each other until they have herd immunity. Besides, countries don’t want coronavirus ships in their ports.
