Since we are talking about popular cruise port and Norway, here is the 10 most popular cruise ports in Norway:

Yellow Fever is considered to be the most dangerous vaccination. it kills some tiny fraction of a percent of the people that take it. Only a few specially licensed clinics offer it in the US. They won’t give Yellow Fever vaccine to people over 65.

Additional countries require proof of Yellow Fever vaccination if you are traveling from countries where Yellow Fever is endemic (e.g. Panama to Costa Rica, but enforcement is spotty and mostly likely at airports).

It used to be that the Yellow Fever vaccination needed to be repeated every 10 years, but now one vaccination is considered good for life.
