I may soon have an opportunity to work with Crowley or Kirby on their offshore tugs as a Mate. I’ve read through many of the forums on here about the two companies but many seem pretty dated. I was wondering if anyone had any information on pay rates and the training process? I believe Kirby starts you as an AB and you work your way up to become a mate but I’m not sure how Crowley training works. Any information is appreciated thanks!
