Connected sex toys can collect far more than basic app settings — including usage habits, location data, device details, and even intimate messages or media. And once that information reaches the cloud, leaks, profiling, targeted ads, or abuse become much harder to rule out.
I better get my resume ready then. 
I’m just lucky to be on a boat that doesn’t have VDR or other microphones the office can pull up. Though I’m sure that the number of “per my previous email” type entries I send in is a pretty good indication of the frustration sometimes too.

I recall some inports where we’d wander the ship looking for the rumored cameras after a few days at sea. We all know it’s been thought of and sometimes but only in some places are they necessary (thruster compartment, steering gear, etc) Any pea brain should know cameras will be found immediately and will ‘‘malfunction’’ soon after they become operational.
Not sure if the location is geographical or bodily.
