The Standard P&I Club has issued a long and detailed study of the problem:
As per usual they are asking a hell of a lot from “a sharp eye” particularly when there are multiple gantries working a ULCC.
I agree, the “causes” part of the study seems OK but the “solutions” is BS. The plan to simply exhort the crew to do a better job means Standard either doesn’t know how to fix the problem or they don’t care. Maybe both.
