Norwegian Coast Guard has received the first of a new class of light craft, the “Sjøbjørn 38”. The first craft was delivered to KV “Njord” today:

The delivery to KV Njord is the first of five Sjøbjørn 38 boats ordered for the Coast Guard. The project demonstrates the value of close collaboration between Norwegian industry and the defence sector, resulting in a vessel that enhances operational flexibility, safety, and mission capability.
