I’ve tried like fifty times but for whatever reason I can never seem to open coast guard website links while aboard this boat. But I called the maritime school and they and this link agree there are tonnage requirements for the practical assesments. If there was no special requirements then it wouldn’tmake sense so many schools refuse to do all the practical assesments; the schools aren’t silly arbitrarily, there must be a perfectly logical reason their hands are tied.
