C/e 6000 itc

Does anyone else find this endorsement process pointless. Needing it to run a larger vessel is fine, but getting signed off that I know how to answer a phone is ridiculous. And why is the rig stuff (mud etc.) on the oceans part?

In my opinion, it’s all useless. For the bridge crew, 95% of it is stuff you learned while taking your license tests. But whatever floats their boat, it’s a pay bump…

Tom, just send them a pic of your patch job on the sink and I bet they say “this man knows what’s up.” Your ticket will be in the mail before you know it…

I had to get the ticket before I was authorized to make those kind of high tech repairs!

Maybe that’s not what they meant by “certified rigger”
