Bulk carriers grounding in US

Are all these groundings of Bulkers in US waters caused by crew fatigue?:

If so; is that because of Covid-19 and long hitches?

PS> Didn’t these ship have pilots on board at the time?

Both groundings were caused by loss of engine power. Looks more like cases of poor maintenance then of crew fatigue.

But caused by long term fatigue, which again was caused by extended service periods and lack of shore leave anywhere??

Could be long term fatigue. Could be lack of spares. I know that lead times on lots of parts were pushed back pretty far when the COVID shutdowns started. It took us quite a bit longer than usual to get spare piston rings during my last hitch, 3 months from the PO being issued where it’s usually about a month.
