Hi folks, does anyone have any leads or suggestions for deck dept. offshore employment around Australia/Oceania area. I am a U.S. citizen living near Brisbane. I am married to an Aussie and have a perminent work visa. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I have heard that Australia has some very strict Maritime Unions. I would suggest researching that part.
Check with mermaid marine. It is possible but difficult. Go to the ITA, international tugmasters assoc., website and check their forum. There is a thread about offshore Australia jobs.
