Charles Caudrelier, a French sailor, won the first round- the - world solo race for multihull boats by arriving off Brest after 50 days at sea.!!! (It was a trimaran) Unbelievable. the English girl Ellen MacArthur did it in 70 days, but 50 days incredible!
