Rowing for charity: Row4Cancer

Dutch rowers Mark Slats and Kai Wiedmer, have arrived in Antigua after rowing 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2020.

They have broken the World Record for the fastest pair to row across in the Atlantic ocean in 32 days, 22 hours, 13 minutes.

Mark and Kai have led the fleet from the start. The men not only wanted to set a new world record, but also stay ahead of the four-man boats. They succeeded. The difference between Mark and Kai and the number two, the four-man team On Shoulder Of Giants, was about 200 miles at the time of the finish. In addition to this pair, another duo, Team Antigua Pairs, is also rowing in the competition. At the time of writing, they still have more than 1000 miles to go.
