Add medical endorsements to license?

Going through my documents and realized I took Medical PIC last year but I never had it added to my license. Is it too late?

I already have Med First Aid Provider on my license.

The certs good for 5 years I believe, so just send it in now.

And I think adding an endorsement is free maybe?

For an STCW endorsement, yes. For a national endorsement, no.

Probably not for the reason you are thinking. The existing fee structure was set up and put in the CFR before STCW was a thing, and longer the current price of a Costco hot dog. It has not been updated. When (if) it is, there will likely be fees for STCW endorsements, unless someone makes a threat like the one for raising the price of the Costco hot dog.

I have Medical First-Aide Provider in my book & used to be a Qualified Assessor. If I could only buy & have one for a buck-fifty, the Med 1stAide, Q.A or Costco Hotdog, Iā€™d go with the hotdog.
