Where can I find info on a ABS Loadline UTV involving a non permanent (removable) upper pilot house?
Where can I find info on a ABS Loadline UTV involving a non permanent (removable) upper pilot house?
What type of information?

Chances are that ABS has at least the drawings of the hull and superstructure on (electronic) file in Houston. If they issue a load line on something, those drawings have to be submitted at the time. This is separate from ABS classification …

Beyond that, exactly what do you want / need?

I’m under the impression that if a " bolt on" upper pilot house is installed on a Loadline boat the plans for said house do not have to go thru ABS vetting procedures because the pilot house will not be considered permanent.

I’m getting conflicting information from the ABS engineering dept in NO.

I suspect details will have to be provided to some extent, bolted on or not.

But suggest refer to ABS directly, because if they are the assigning authority, you will have to satisfy them regardless.
