My Dad was on the USS PENNSYLVANIA BB38 during WWII. It was an older ship with 14 inch guns. He was in 1st division on the fwd mounts. There were about 65 to 70 guys in their division.

Having toured the local Gulf Coast Battleships, I really respect the living conditions of these guys. . . . tough work, too. . .
