Would your STCW rest hours stand up to scrutiny?

What do you think? Would they? The Black Sea MoU just announced a Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) from September through November of this year that will concentrate on STCW rest hours (http://www.bsmou.org/downloads/press-releases/Press%20Release%20CIC%20on%20STCW%20Hours%20of%20Rest.pdf). We can safely assume that most other MoUs will jump on the bandwagon.

Thanks for the reminder. I filed a grievance with MM&P against Matson last August on this very matter. The elected union officials are on it. I was told these things usually take time. I’ll give them a call.
