Rookie to the maritime industry and don’t know to much. I’m not sure exactly if this is a good time for hiring green horns and I am not sure which company to go, if any. I am familiar with MSC but not a huge fan (they get about two months off per year now a days). I am definitely doing the deckhand shuffle; fixing up resumes, filling out applications, and calling companies weekly. If there is anyone out there that may know of any good companies that are hiring I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks mariners.
