Can anyone tell me what happened to the leader of the pirate gang that captured Phillips? I can’t even seem to find the guy’s name… in the movie credit’s the actor is “Barkhad Abdi” but his character (the real life leader) is just named “Muse”.
Does anyone know what happened to “muse” after the incident?
I’m asking because, according to the book, the “leader” got off the lifeboat before the seals attacked to “negotiate” with the US Navy and never returned. So does anyone know what happened to him after he left the lifeboat??

The real Muse, whose full name is Abduwali Abdukhadir Muse and is now 23, is in a U.S. prison in Terre Haute, Indiana, serving a more than 33-year sentence handed down in 2010 for his role in the hijacking.
