This last week I got to run a 12/12, it was amazing sleeping all night. I get more rest on the boat then at home. 8/8 watch though not sure I would want the zombie watch at night though.
Isn’t 12/12 a huge relief after 6&6! We have two mates on this watch so are able to trade off on the DP console every two hours.
I’m so used to 6x6 I have trouble staying alert for 12 hours…
